Through in-depth exchanges, the Shenzhen Pet Expo team identified three defining characteristics of Singapore's pet market:

Strong Potential for Value-for-Money Products:
Multiple distributors expressed keen interest in importing cost-effective Chinese products such as freeze-dried treats, smart pet gadgets, and walking harnesses. Chinese manufacturers enjoy competitive advantages by offering premium quality at accessible price points - perfectly positioned to fill the mid-to-high market gap in Singapore and meet growing demand from the expanding pet-owning population.

■ Urgent Need for Supply Chain Solutions:
Local chain enterprises not only dominate 60% of Singapore's retail market, but also extend their operations to neighboring countries like Malaysia and Indonesia. However, securing high-quality supply chains has become a critical bottleneck in their expansion. These businesses are actively seeking to leverage China's extensive product resources and efficient supply network to enhance their competitive edge in the region.

■ Cross-border E-commerce Opportunities:
Half of local traders have already expanded onto platforms like Shopee and Lazada, leveraging Singapore's status as a free port and regional trade hub to rapidly penetrate neighboring pet markets through efficient logistics networks. This trend highlights new synergies between Southeast Asia's pet e-commerce sector and China's supply chain capabilities.
