The global pet market has exceeded 2 trillion yuan in 2024 and is expected to continue expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 5%. Junha  Yoon, Seoul Customs, South Korea, gave a keynote speech titled "Interpretation of Korea's Policy on Facilitating Customs Clearance for Pet Products". She delved into hot topics such as import tariffs for major pet products, animal items with import requirements, import clearance precautions, and recent trends in pet imports, introduced the 0% tariff enjoyed by pet products through certificates of origin (C/O), as well as the distribution of pet import sources in South Korea. The import of cat food has shown a significant growth trend.
